Hi. Let's grow together.
Are you looking for a therapist and wondering if we are the right fit? Ask yourself these questions:
Do you feel spread too thin, like ice on the verge of breaking? Do you feel like you have to "do it all," which leaves you overwhelmed and stressed?
Are your relationships, responsibilities, or feelings being put on the back burner? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? Sometimes, do you feel like you just want to run away?
If you answered yes to any of these, we might be a good fit. I help many clients with these types of challenges and more.
Great to meet you!
Hi there, I'm Briana and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Indiana. I identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community and provide affirming care, including advocacy and WPATH documentation for my gender diverse clients.
My passion for becoming a therapist is rooted in my own life experiences and mental health journey, as well as a passion for social justice. My personal experiences have been both a source of struggle and a catalyst for growth, guiding me toward this path with a deep sense of empathy for the challenges my clients face. I approach my work with humility, knowing that I cannot fully understand every experience, but can provide the space to explore these experiences together with the lenses I use in my therapeutic approach. I treat each client as an equal partner in their treatment journey, as well as an expert in their own healing.
A bit about my approach to therapy
I empower people by helping them develop their strengths and tools to address stressors of life. Together, we will look at the whole picture to identify what you can change, what you can let go, and what you can move forward with.
This is a safe space to explore your needs and wants, so you may become the best version of yourself. Whether you are coming here to process trauma, general overwhelm or burnout, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, mood swings, attention deficits, or relationship challenges, I'm here to help.
What you can expect from our first session
I utilize evidence-based tools and practices to help identify and address your trauma history, unhelpful automatic thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. Together we will explore your long and short-term goals and build a plan together for how to move forward.

Here is what I can help you with:
Anxiety
Anxiety can be a debilitating condition that impacts many aspects of someone's life. Someone with anxiety may feel stuck or "frozen," or they might feel like they want to run away. I offer evidence-based practices to help clients understand and manage their worries and self-defeating thoughts.
Depression
Depression can make it extremely difficult to enjoy life and engage with others. Someone with depression may lose interest in things they once loved, feel like they have no motivation, exhibit low self-esteem, experience suicidal thoughts, and feel hopeless. I offer evidence-based strategies to help clients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
Trauma
Trauma can have a lasting impact on a person's life, but evidence-based therapies can help individuals heal and move forward. I offer trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR, to help clients overcome the effects of trauma.
ADHD and co-occurring disorders
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), usually first diagnosed in childhood, can appear in a variety of forms and has many possible causes. People with ADHD probably have an underlying genetic vulnerability to developing it, but the severity of the problem is also influenced by the environment. Conflict and stress tend to make it worse.
ADHD can go undiagnosed into adulthood in some cases. The activity component is less apparent in adults, who tend to have problems with memory and concentration. They may have trouble staying organized and meeting commitments at work or at home. The consequence of poor functioning may be anxiety, low self-esteem, or mood problems. Some people turn to substances to manage these feelings. I can help you learn how to manage the symptoms associated with ADHD by teaching specific coping strategies and helping you develop a plan that best works for your brain.
